A Microsoft Cyber Monday deals image with a Microsoft Surface Go 3 on a red background

Let’s start this easy Sunday afternoon (in the UK) with an easy, affordable Microsoft Surface deal. The Microsoft Surface Go 3, a very decent midrange 2-in-1, has been discounted this whole Black Friday weekend, but as we crawl closer to Cyber Monday, I’ve noticed the price has crawled downwards in small increments all weekend. Right now, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is down to £474.95 (was £569) at Amazon (opens in new tab), and for it you get a convertible laptop/tablet with the same touchscreen you’ll find on the Surface Laptop 4/5, and one that’s especially brilliant for note-taking and sketching. If you like that, and don’t need the superior power of the Laptop or Laptop Studio (or the Surface Pro), this one’s a very good early Cyber Monday get.

Asus ROG Strix laptop

This could be your last chance to grab the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 (2022) at a remarkable saving for a new laptop. There are only five left in stock right now so if you want to take advantage of this 17 per cent reduction, which knocks the price down from £2,299 to £1,899 at Amazon (opens in new tab), you’ll need to do it soon.

It has the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H Processor, a powerful NVIDIA GEForce RTX card and incredible visual effects. Reviews are top-notch so you’ll know you’re getting a brilliant device.

Honor Magic Book 15

Good morning! It’s Sunday now (apparently, we’ve lost track a bit). And Cyber Monday laptop deals are (hopefully) about to start to appear ahead of the retailer shift away from Black Friday.

With that in mind, we thought we’d draw your attention to a laptop you might not have considered, but one that is a good budget buy. The Honor MagicBook range is one we’re familiar with (we do rate the 16, as seen in our Honor MagicBook 16 review), but it’s the MagicBook 15 that’s on offer here. We also liked the 14, so while we haven’t been hands on with this model, we expect good things.

Get it now at its lowest-ever price, reduced from £649.99 to £489.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab). With its 15.6-inch, Full HD IPS screen, it’s big and bright. It also holds 512 GB PCIe SSD and has 8 GB RAM. It boasts a AMD Ryzen 5-5500U and runs Windows 11 Home. All in all, a good, solid choice.

Cyber Monday laptop deal

It’s not all gaming laptops though in Amazon’s Cyber Monday laptops sale. There are some great devices for creatives too. They include on the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo (pictured), which is a favourite contender of ours as one of the best laptops for graphic design, and Dell’s sleek, compact all-round great performer, the XPS 13.

We’re taking a break from the blog for a few hours, but I’ll leave you with our top picks of the bunch. We’ll be back tomorrow with more on the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday laptop deals.

Cyber Monday laptop deal

We’re still wading through Amazon’s new Cyber Monday laptop deals, and there are some real corkers. Particularly gaming laptop deals. Here are some more highlights:

Cyber Monday laptop deal

For Amazon, Black Friday is over, but it’s skipping the weekend and jumping straight into Cyber Monday. It’s now advertising a whole bunch of Black Friday Cyber Monday laptop deals on everything from budget family laptops to gaming laptops and devices for creatives.

Are Cyber Monday deals better than Black Friday deals? Well that’s kind of hard to tell. There’s certainly more of them – or at least Amazon is flagging more deals as Cyber Monday laptop deals than it was Black Friday laptop deals yesterday, but then it already had some good laptop deals that weren’t flagged up as part of the sale.

Anyway, Cyber Monday at Amazon looks like it’s good news, because there are laptops deals of all kinds The cheapest and most basic laptop on offer is the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 L510, reduced from $249.99 to $189.99 (opens in new tab)

At the polar opposite end of the spectrum is the Alienware m15 R7 Gaming Laptop (32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3080) reduced from $2,799.99 to $2,329.99 (opens in new tab) – a saving of $470. That’s the laptop pictured above.

Surface Laptop Studio Black Friday deal

Microsoft’s Surface range of laptops are serious contenders for creatives now, if you can fathom out which is which. You’ve got the Surface Laptop, which is more of a traditional laptop setup, the Surface Laptop Studio, which is a stunning 2-in-1 device with a screen that can slide forward over the keyboard to form a tablet or stand up in easel mode, and then there’s the Surface Pro, which is more of a tablet (although since it runs on Windows and can be paired with Microsoft’s keyboard, it can work as a laptop too).

The great news is that there are Microsoft Surface Black Friday deals across the whole range. Here are the best prices, we’re seeing at the moment:

Lenovo ThinkPad X1

(opens in new tab)

We’ve been busy looking for more great Black Friday laptop deals and, goodness, we’ve found a good’un. Right now, Lenovo has shaved over $1,000 off its sought-after ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 laptop, taking the price down to $1,156.22 (opens in new tab)

In the UK, the same device with slightly more storage is down to £1,500 after Lenovo cut a whopping £730 off the price tag (opens in new tab)

This device is super-popular, not just for the power hiding underneath its hood, but because it’s an absolute pleasure to use. Super powerful, super portable and now at a super price.

An MSI Black Friday deals image with an MSI Creator Z17 on a red background

(opens in new tab)

And now for a UK-based Money No Object Wishlist item: Overclockers, in a cool move, are offering a special offer on pre-orders for the creative powerhouse MSI Creator Z17: £2,999.99 (opens in new tab) (yes, a lot) instead of the RRP £4,299.95 (*faints*). In return for handing over that considerable amount of money, though, you get a considerable amount of computer: a 17-inch 165Hz QHD touchscreen, the Intel Core i9-12900H processor, the 16GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, 2TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage, and the dizzying processing power of 32GB DDR5. No creative task will overwhelm it, methinks.

MSI are good. These specs are good. This deal is good.

A Lenovo Black Friday deals image with a Lenovo 16" ThinkPad P16 Gen 1 laptop on a red background

(opens in new tab)

We’ve spotted an Ultimate Wishlist laptop on sale in the B&H Black Friday sale. The Lenovo 16″ ThinkPad P16 Gen 1 (opens in new tab) is not just a good laptop: it’s one of the most powerful laptops a creative person could ever hope to possess. Under the deceptively nondescript cover, this beast of a machine has the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD, and a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display powered by the ludicrously powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX A4500 graphics card. It’s simply everything a serious pro will ever need for even the most resource-heavy creative task.

And yes, it does have the price tag to match. The MSRP is a cool $3,999, BUT WAIT.

B&H is currently knocking no less than $800 off the asking price, making the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 available for $3,199 (opens in new tab), and throwing in 3 months of Adobe Creative Cloud along with a 1-year subscription to Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office. If you’re going all out, this is currently one of the best ways to do so.

An Acer Black Friday deals image with an Acer Chromebook 314 on a red background

We told you about the Acer 314 Chromebook yesterday as a great budget laptop offer this Black Friday. Well, we’ve got good news and bad news.

The bad news is, it’s sold out at John Lewis. I know, very tragic. But don’t cry! It’s available at Currys! And for the same price as it was at JL & Partners! So: you can get the Acer 314 Chromebook for £249 £169 at Currys (opens in new tab), for which you get a Full HD screen for all your streaming needs, and 4GB RAM and the customary 64 GB eMMC storage (cos most of your files will be saved on the cloud, with this being a Chromebook), running on the tried-and-tested-and-now-very-affordable Intel Celeron N4020 processor. So our choice for one of the best cheap Black Friday laptop deals lives on!

An MSI Black Friday deals image with an MSI GV15 gaming laptop on a red background

(opens in new tab)

Good morning, dear US readers. If you’ve been looking for a gaming laptop and all those unattainable $2,000+ offers have been making you need a quiet cry in the bathroom, we’ve got more than a mere consolation for you in the shape of a tasty MSI Black Friday deal (which is being pushed as an early Cyber Monday deal on Amazon). The very capable MSI GV15 gaming laptop is a third off, now $750 $499.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab), for which you get a 15.6-inch gaming laptop with decent specs: an Intel Core i5-11400H processor, the still-very-good NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB NVMe SSD for storage. It’s a good option for midrange gamers or aspiring designers, as this will handle most games (albeit the newest ones tuned down a little in visual terms) and enable you to run Photoshop and other graphic-design software without your machine collapsing under its weight.

Oh, and while we’re at it. The slightly larger 13-inch MacBook Pro M1 (2020) with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD is a rather largeish $500 off on B&H in a ‘DealZone’ Black Friday offer, which will only run until about 11pm Atlantic in the US, now only $1,899 $1,399 (opens in new tab), so if you’re looking for a MacBook Pro, you need to act fast, cos discounts this big on Apple laptops don’t come around too often.

The MacBook Pro Black Friday deal.

It’s been a while since we’ve slid in with a MacBook saving, so how about a hot Apple Black Friday deal? Right now you can pick up the 2021 12-inch Apple MacBook Pro (M1,1TB SSD) from Amazon for £2,399 £2,105 (opens in new tab), saving you an impressive £294. This is a powerful laptop perfect for any creative looking to do high-end digital work like video editing.

Acer laptop deals.

This year, as with every year, the big Black Friday laptop deals are mainly on last year’s models, and this is true for the Microsoft’s Surface Laptop series. With the release of the Surface Laptop 5 this year, we’ve see some big discounts on the 4 –º which is great, because we absolutely love the Surface Laptop 4! (check out our review on it).

It’s currently got nearly £500 off the retail price, bringing it down from £1,649  to £1,167.97 (opens in new tab). That’s the model with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD.

The MSI laptop

Good morning! Just starting my shift on our Black Friday laptop live blog, and going through all the deals that we’re highlighting (above), there’s a couple that have jumped out at me. Gamers rejoice! It’s a nice pair of MSI lappys!

The first is the MSI Katana GF66 15.6-inch gaming laptop. Over at Walmart it’s down from $1,899 to $1,299, saving you $600 (opens in new tab)

The second is the ma-hoosive 17-inch MSI Creator Pro laptop. Over at Amazon it’s down from $2,349 to $1,399, saving $950 (opens in new tab). That’s one of the biggest savings that I’ve seen on laptops this Black Friday.

Dell XPS 15 OLED

Happy Saturday laptop-hunters! It may have only been a few hours since we logged off (thank goodness for a global team), but we’re back with more actually decent deals on laptops today. Thought Black Friday was over? Think again.

We’ll kick things off by revisiting one of our favourite deals of yesterday – the record-breaking price on the Dell XPS 15 OLED 3.5K laptop – now £2,449 (was £2,799) (opens in new tab). With a Intel Core i9-12900HK processor, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti 4GB and a touchscreen, there are only 8 left in stock so we fully expect this to sell out today.

Gaming Laptop Black Friday deal

We’re wrapping things up for tonight, but we’ll be back tomorrow to continue hunting out the best Black Friday laptop deals. I’ll leave you with a couple of cracking deals on the 2022 Asus ROG Strix Scar 15, which is at number 2 in our pick of the best laptops for gaming.

It has an unabashed gaming style with RGB lights galore but it’s also very powerful courtesy of the new Intel 12th Gen CPUs and the latest Nvidia RTX graphics.

In the US, Amazon has ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and Intel Core i9 12900H reduced from $1,999 to $1649.99 (opens in new tab)

In the UK, the same setup is reduced from £2,299 to £1,899.00 (opens in new tab).

Gaming Laptop Black Friday deal

There are quite a few Black Friday laptop deals about on smaller Razer gaming laptops too. I’ve not spotted a deal on the Razer Blade 17 in the US, but Amazon has some big savings on the Razer Blade 15 – now from $2,229.99 $1,999 (opens in new tab) and Razer Blade 15 with NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 Ti now from $2,599 $1,999 (opens in new tab).

Black Friday laptop deal

Sticking with gaming laptops, let’s go to the other extreme. The Razer Blade 17 is currently at the top of our pick of the best laptops for gaming overall. So how much can we save on this awesome gaming setup during Black Friday? Actually by a massive amount in the UK. Amazon has the Razer Blade 17 Intel Core i7, NVIDIA RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD for £2,599.99 £1,699 (opens in new tab). Yikes! That’s a stunning Black Friday laptop deal saving £700.

Black Friday gaming laptop deal

We’re seeing an absolute ton of Black Friday gaming laptop deals. But gaming laptops come in all kinds of sizes and capabilities. We’ve flagged up a deal on the awesome Razer Blade 14 (opens in new tab) above, but even with that massive Black Friday deal, that’s still a pricey piece of kit. So what are the cheapest gaming laptops this Black Friday? Here are a couple of budget gems.

Black Friday deal

So, this isn’t strictly a laptop, but a lot of people like using it as one. Microsoft’s Surface Pro range of tablets was designed to take on the iPad, with the advantage of being able to run fully fledged desktop software on Windows. Add in a type-cover, and you’ve got a nifty, tactile little laptop with a gorgeous screen and a pretty decent amount of power.

We’ve seen plenty of Black Friday discounts on last year’s Surface Pro 8, but there are deals on the new Surface Pro 9 too. Amazon has $250 off several configurations. For example, the Surface Pro 9 with 16GB RAM and 256GB or SSD is now $1,599.99 $1,349 (opens in new tab).

An MSI Black Friday deals image with an MSI Katana GF66 on a red background

If you’re absolutely aching for that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card but can’t stretch to the near-$2,000 that getting it inside a Razer Blade would cost you, we’ve got good MSI Black Friday news for you, US friends! Walmart is slashing $600 (or almost a third) off the excellent MSI Katana GF66, now $1,299 (was $1,899) (opens in new tab). It’s got that vaunted graphics card, and to back it up it’s got an Intel Core 12th Gen i9-12900H processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD under the bonnet (that’s British for hood), with a 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz screen to immerse you in games (and graphic design).

A Microsoft Black Friday deals image with a Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 on a red background

Well, here’s a surprise. The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 has been out for all of five minutes (well, a month), so I didn’t expect to see any discounts on it this Black Friday. How wrong I was. It’s not a huge discount, granted, but it has just dropped 6% on Amazon, where you can now get the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13.5-inch version in silver for £1,191.11, down nearly 78 quid from £1,269 (opens in new tab). This is the version with Intel EVO 12th Gen Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, and interestingly only in Silver and Black. I really liked the 4, this laptop’s predecessor, and my colleague Ian currently has this one in for review, with early signs positive. It’s not an Earth-shattering deal, let’s be honest, but a nice little surprise nonetheless.

An Acer Black Friday deals image with an Acer Chromebook 314 on a red background

It’s bargain time! If all you need is a laptop to browse the internet, watch streaming and/or do general office-type work or studying, a Chromebook may be enough for you. And there are a dizzying number of Chromebook Black Friday flying around now, so sifting through which ones of these ultra-cheap laptops are actually any good can be tricky. One of the ones that’s actually decent is the Acer Chromebook 314, now only £169.99 (down from £249.99) on John Lewis (opens in new tab). That’s a cool £80 saving, almost a third, for a laptop that will do all the everyday tasks you need to do, so qualifies as an Actually Good Black Friday Chromebook Deal. The screen is a Full HD one too, so you can watch streaming services on it without it hurting your eyes (or pride) too much…

An HP Black Friday deals image with an HP Envy x360 on a red background

The HP Envy x360 is one of our favourite laptops this year, and certainly one of the best 2-in-1s we’ve ever tested (and here’s the review (opens in new tab) to prove it). We’re telling you this because we like you, and also because it’s now £200 off at John Lewis. You can get the HP Envy x360 for £699.99 (was £899.99) (opens in new tab), for which you get a premium convertible laptop with a Full HD touchscreen, 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. This is a better deal than you’ll find on Amazon right now, and the best one we’ve found for this excellent laptop.

A Razer Black Friday deals image with a Razer Blade 14 on a red background

So you want a Razer Blade but you’re not the heir to a vast fortune? I feel your pain. Razer gaming laptops are also fantastic computers for creative enthusiasts and professionals, and while most of them are, let’s face it, too expensive for most of us, you can bag what’s actually a pretty good Black Friday Razer deal on B&H right now. The Razer Blade 14 is $600 off, down to $1,999.99 from $2,599.99 (opens in new tab), and for it, you get the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti powering a 14-inch 144Hz Full HD screen, with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB PCle 4.0 SSD. It’s not the biggest screen, for if you’re a video editor, for example, but this can be remedied with a bigger second screen, because the engine behind it is formidable

A Lenovo Black Friday deals image with a Lenovo Ideapad 5i on a red background

I feel you, dear US readers. We’ve told you about the ASUS Vivobook earlier as a good offer for UK readers, but I’m not gonna leave you out, my American friends, because I care about you. And you can rejoice now, as I’ve spotted what we in the UK would call a proper Obie Trice (google it) deal on a good affordable Lenovo laptop at Walmart. The Lenovo Ideapad 5i is $130 off, now $369 (was $499) (opens in new tab). This Walmart offer beats Lenovo’s own by a full dollar (it all counts!) and turns a decent midrange laptop into a great budget laptop. It comes with a 14-inch Full HD screen, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD to keep things running nice and smooth for remote workers or hard-working students.

A Corsair Black Friday deals image with a Corsair K55 RGB Pro XT keyboard on a red background

If you have ten clumsy thumbs like me, you won’t be a fan of most native laptop keyboards, so will prefer an external keyboard hooked up to your computer. And while my favourite keyboard, the Corsair K100 Air, isn’t discounted this Black Friday, the Corsair K55 RGB Pro XT, also a really good mechanical keyboard, is a big £25 off on Corsair’s website this Black Friday weekend, now £49.99 (was £74.99) (opens in new tab). This keyboard, while billed as a gaming keyboard, works really well for creative professionals and enthusiasts with its customisable keys and mechanical switches (as opposed to resistance-free membrane keyboards), and they don’t come much better than Corsair, who have a very decent range of keyboards, mice and accessories available during their Corsair Black Friday sales event (opens in new tab).

An ASUS Black Friday deals image with an ASUS Vivobook 15 on a red background

Look, we all want the big fancy expensive laptops, but we don’t all (1) have the money for one, and/or (2) actually need one. If you’re looking for a nice, affordable laptop for your general work-from-home tasks, or a student laptop that won’t fall apart midway through a lecture in two months, John Lewis is offering the midrange ASUS Vivobook 15 for budget laptop money right now, down to £369.99 (was £599.99) (opens in new tab). That’s a good 38% discount for a very reliable machine, which comes with a Full HD 15.6-inch screen, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD (which makes it work much faster than any equivalent laptop with an HDD). It’s a really good price from a very reliable laptop maker.

Dell laptop product shot

(opens in new tab)

If you’re after a laptop that will fulfil your every day needs – surfing the web, watching movies, etc, this Dell Inspiron is a great choice. With a 15.6-inch screen, Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD and Windows 11 Home, this is nifty little machine is excellent value at its retail price of £579. And right now you can get a further £80 off this Dell Inspiron laptop at Amazon, taking it down to just £499 (opens in new tab), making it a total bargain.

A Microsoft Black Friday deals image, with a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio on a green background

We’ve told you about the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 earlier, but there’s also a generous discount on the Surface Laptop Studio on Amazon, now £1,199 (was £1,449) (opens in new tab). It’s not as big a discount as on the 4, but it’s a newer model so that’s understandable. The model on offer has an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, and this is very close to the lowest-ever price we’ve seen for it.

A Samsung Black Friday image with a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 on a green background

We’ve found a very decent discount on a very decent 2-in-1, as the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 is £400 off at Currys, now £599 (was £999) (opens in new tab). It’s got 8GB of RAM, Full HD AMOLED touchscreen and an Intel Core i5 processor, and it comes with a stylus included, so could be a good midrange option for budding designers who want a tablet and laptop all in one.

A Razer Black Friday deals image, with a Razer Blade 17 on a green background

It’s beginning to look a lot like… a Razer Black Friday, actually. Razer has entered the Black Friday deals extravaganza with a vengeance, where interested US shoppers can score the Razer Blade 17 for $1,899.99, down $600 from $2,499.99 (opens in new tab). Being an ace gaming laptop, of course, it’s also a great tool for creative pros, with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, the powerful 11th Gen Intel 8-Core i7 CPU powering a large 17.3″ FHD 360Hz screen, and supported by 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD making photo and video-editing work look easy. There’s even an SD card reader for photographers, making an external dock unnecessary. This laptop did go down to $1,699.99 very briefly in August, so we’ll let you know if the price for this one drops further.

Black Friday Dell XPS deals image with a Dell XPS laptop on a green background

SLIGHTLY LESS LIMITED STOCK DELL UPDATE: If you have tried and failed to get the Dell laptop of your choice on Amazon, there’s slightly more selection (and sometimes far bigger discounts) on Dell’s own site. This includes £700 off the super-powerful Dell XPS 17 (£2,698.99 now £1,998.99) (opens in new tab) at the top end, and an almost-half off the budget-friendly Dell Inspiron 15 (£329 now £189) (opens in new tab) on the other.

A Black Friday Microsoft Surface deal image, with a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 on a green background

Now that the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 is out, the Surface Laptop 4 is being given a very healthy discount. But as it’s still a very capable machine (read our review (opens in new tab) if you don’t believe me), we can definitely still recommend it. Especially now that this high-spec variant is being given over £480 off the RRP, now £1,167.97 (was £1,649) (opens in new tab). This Surface Laptop 4 comes with an Intel Core i7 chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, along with excellent battery life and a nice, sharp screen. This is the best price this laptop has ever been as far as we know, so if you’re in the market for a very good Surface laptop, you can celebrate Black Friday early.

Black Friday Dell XPS deals image with a Dell XPS laptop on a green background

Time for a LIMITED STOCK update. I know many of you are looking for Dell XPS laptops right now as they are both capable creative and gaming machines. Unfortunately, Dell doesn’t seem too well stocked in the UK at the moment, with many models sold out, but there are good offers to be had on the ones that still remain. There’s up to £350 off on Amazon right now (opens in new tab), with the biggest discount seen on the Dell XPS 15, now £2,449 (was £2,799) (opens in new tab). That’s also the best price we’ve seen this laptop go for, but there’s only 12 left in stock at the time of writing…

LIGHT THE GAMING LAPTOP BLACK FRIDAY DEAL BEACONS.
ASUS makes some good gaming laptops. One of the rather more impressive ones is the popular ASUS ROG Strix G15, which has a 300Hz Full HD screen, the lightning-fast NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD, all running on the battery-life-friendly Intel Core i9 12900H processor. It’s currently $200 off on Amazon US, now $1,599.99, down from $1,799.99 (opens in new tab). Like most good gaming laptops, this one is a great option for ambitious creatives, thanks to the fast graphics card and ample RAM. This is close to, but not quite, the lowest price we’ve recorded for this laptop, so we’ll be sure to let you know if this one goes any lower over the weekend.

MacBook Air Gold on a green background

One of the best places for early Apple Black Friday deals on Apple products this morning seems to be B&H Photo & Video (opens in new tab), where you can find MacBooks for up to $500 off. One of these offers is on the popular MacBook Air (M1, 2020), and the Gold model is $250 off right now, down to $999 (was $1,249) (opens in new tab). The MacBook Air is a sleek and powerful laptop, and I personally love the Gold one, so if you don’t mind the little extra attention you’ll get, this is a very nice deal to go for.

ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo laptop on a green background

Dear UK readers, the skies may be grey and dull, but this early Black Friday deal from Currys is hot and shiny! ASUS Zenbooks have become one of creatives’ laptops of choice, thanks to their excellent OLED screens and outstanding processing power. And now the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo is a cool £500 off at Currys, now £1,499, down from £1,999 (opens in new tab). It’s one of our favourite pro laptops, and even though the graphics card is ‘only’ an Intel Iris Xe, it’s still a fantastic piece of kit, so if you’re in the market for a laptop with a pin-sharp 2.8K OLED screen with great colour coverage, you could do a lot worse this Black Friday.

Hi, it’s Reviews Editor Erlingur here. I’ll be accompanying you today on Creative Bloq’s Black Friday laptop deals live blog. Even though Friday hasn’t arrived yet, we’re already seeing a lot of offers live both in the UK and US, and will be doing our best to keep track of the best deals on the best laptops out there all across the weekend…

The first one will be a big get for creative professionals in the US looking for a graphic design or video-editing powerhouse, as the MSI Creator 17 is a massive $800 off, from $2,349 down to $1,549 (opens in new tab). This laptop boasts 100% AdobeRGB colour coverage, and is equipped with an Intel Core i7-11800H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB NVME SSD, and has Thunderbolt 4 ports for fast data transfer, something you’ll need if you’re editing 8K HDR video. This is the lowest price we’ve ever recorded for the MSI Creator 17, so we can definitely recommend this deal.
